this version was mixed down from my computer to tape, and then rendered digitally. the other version, for anyone nerdy enough to care, is identical except that it never went through tape. i think the tape version sounds nicer: the harshness of the cymbals was reduced, the instruments feel more like they were recorded together (they weren't), the sharpest transients are smoothed out, the bass kind of blends in better, and it just feels more like an old black sabbath record. the sermon is from a tape i found in a truckstop. the rest is pretty self explanatory.
